I probably spend too much time on my computer, too much time alone at home and too much time at work. I work as a Funeral Director/Embalmer/Celebrant and run the private cemetery for an independent small town funeral home. My work is extremely rewarding, interesting and demanding. I love what I do and the amazing people I work with. That said I am seeking a more balanced life for my family and myself.
I enjoy being silly and irreverent in RLC. I love to buy clothes and play with clothes and costumes. I love deco in RLC, especially when creating water features. I have lately been enjoying watching movies in RLC, good and very bad ones, as it is great that we can joke and comment about a movie in RLC and still hear it. I enjoy what time I can spend in here with friends old, new, and connecting or reconnecting with those, I consider "Family". I love hanging out in a club enjoying the music, being sarcastic or funny, I really like to talk.
I see myself as a loyal and protective friend. Although I believe, I am rather poor at maintaining social connections with friends when times are good I am always ready to help when times are tough.
I may like to act "The Class Clown" but I have an old-fashioned sense of honour, loyalty and duty. I can be very serious.
Who I'd like to meet:
Counselling services are focused upon relationship, identity and behavioural issues primarily related to RLC. Real life issues while not the main focus of discussion generally come into play but this service should not be considered a substitute for RL face to face therapy.
To book a counselling session with Dr. Zaffod. Please leave a message on this profile. Please provide window of time for you to meet in Pacific Time Zone. First 30 minute session is FREE. Follow up 50 minute sessions are 60-80 rays/session. I play fast and loose with what I charge if at all. Interests:
20years of psychological field work involving adults with dual diagnosis, counselling and conflict resolution training. I have a long standing interest in the Human Condition, human behavior, sexuality and relationship issues.
Now, 16 years since I first joined RLC to connect with a long-time friend, I am a small town professional, well respected in my community and filled with gratitude for all I have experienced and received. Retirement is not so far away and 20 years of service here has changed me (for the better I hope). I still love helping with humour far more than anything else.
Anything in the outdoors, Kayaking, flying RC planes, walking the dogs, Fitness, Mixed Martial Arts, Working Out/Training, UFC, or indoors too I guess. lol
I love singing in church choir or musical theatre or in the shower, doesn't matter! Karaoke is a fun hobby, or a form torture, depending on your perspective.
