Every mood has it's own need of tunes. I listen to ALL types, because sometimes I need hard, heavy rock and other times, I want easy listening oldies. There are days that country music is all I want to hear, and then there are days I want nothing but In This Moment (because let's face it, Maria is a hottie with a killer voice). My mood predicts my music listening.
Movies:
All time favorite is Alice in Wonderland (the Disney original). I feel like it's because as a child it was a movie I escaped into to keep from focusing on the situation around me. It will always hold a special place in my heart and will never NOT like it!
I'm good with anything, other than horror/scary movies. Those mess with my head! It's not that I'm scared during the movie, but afterwards, laying awake in bed I think I hear something, or I feel someone is in the room with me and it psych's out my brain.
I also enjoy getting a TV series on DVD and having a weekend of just pure laziness. I have several I own and want more!
Books:
I'm an avid reader. I will read just about any sort of book, if it holds my attention. If a book can't get me within the first chapter, then I'm done with the book and will move on to another. These days I don't have as much time to read as I'd like, but I do enjoy it greatly.
